Boil the fries for about 15 minutes or until no longer crunchy (this part is important!) Make sure they are soft or they won't cook correctly in the air fryer.
Drain the water from the fries.
Place the fryer basket in the air fryer and preheat it to 400 degrees and set the time to 12 minutes (You may want to stop it a couple minutes early or go a little longer depending on desired crispiness).
In a small dish, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and turmeric.
*You will likely need to cook the fries in two batches.
In a medium bowl, add half of the fries plus 1 tbsp of oil and 1/2 the seasoning mixture. Toss until the fries are well coated.
Add the fries to the air fryer and distribute evenly. Cook for 10-14 minutes. Check occasionally and stir to prevent burning.
