This tangy AIP-friendly dipping sauce is very easy to make and works great as a condiment or a marinade. It only requires 5 ingredients and a couple minutes to make. It can be made vegan by swapping out the honey for maple syrup.
Sub out the honey for maple syrup for the vegan option.Makes about 1/2 cup of sauce. If you're using this recipe as a marinade, this 1/2 cup of sauce will be enough for about 1 pound of meat. Add the meat to a glass dish or zip lock bag with the marinade and allow to soak for at least an hour (up to 24 hrs). If the marinade doesn't completely cover the meat, turn it over occasionally. This will stay fresh in an airtight container in the fridge for at least 4-5 days, likely longer.
